Argentina new AR$ 50 Bill note
Royo Celano is the author of the Digital Art "Gaucho Argentino" placed on the new AR$ 50 bill note of the Argentinian Republic.
On April 2, 2014 the National Government of Argentina presents a new $ 50 bill note with an image printed on the back of the bill of the Digital Art "Gaucho Argentino" designed by professional photographer and Digital Artist Mark Royo Celano.
The Digital Art of "Gaucho Argentino" was an art performed by the author Mark Royo Celano based on a photo of his own authorship, taken in 1994 at a local celebration party at a "doma" in the yard of the folklore group called "El Lazo" in the city of San Isidro, Buenos Aires Province.
This Digital Art of the "Gaucho Argentino" together with others digital arts made in the mid-90s by digital processes of that time, using the Picture Publisher software had have professional recognition and awards from the company Micrografx, owners and designers of the photo edition sofware Picture Publisher.
Royo Celano had been considered "Featured Artist", and published in the website of the company having the recognition for other international and national artist and photographers.
Also, Royo Celano became "Beta tester" of Micrografx Company to evaluate and review this Picture Publisher software before commercial release.
He was invited by CACIOFA (Argentina Photo Importers Group) to participate in many photo exhibitions and is well known in Argentina by his collegues and members of the Photo Industry for his incredible photos and digital arts and for being one of the pioneers in the 90´s for the development, showing and teaching the technics for digital photo process and digital art in the country.
He was also president of A.A.I.D.A (Asociación de Artistas de Imágenes Digitales de la Argentina) - Argentina Digital Image Artists Association.
Nuevo billete de 50 $ de la República Argentina
Royo Celano es el autor de la fotografía y Arte Digital del "Gaucho Argentino" impreso en el nuevo billete de 50 $ en la República Argentina.
El 2 de abril de 2014, el Gobierno Nacional de República Argentina presenta un nuevo billete de 50 $ con la imagen impresa en la parte posterior del billete el famoso Arte Digital del "Gaucho Argentino" creado, producido y diseñado por el fotógrafo profesional y artista digital Mark Royo Celano.
La obra del Arte Digital "Gaucho Argentino" fue una obra realizada por el autor Mark Royo Celano en base a una foto de su propia autoría tomada en 1994 en una fiesta patria en la Agrupación Folklórica de "El Lazo "en la ciudad de San Isidro, Provincia de Buenos Aires.
Este Arte Digital del "Gaucho Argentino", junto con otros artes digitales realizados a mediados de los años 90 por Royo Celano con los procesos digitales disponibles en ese momento y utilizando el software de edición de imagenes Picture Publisher de la empresa Micrografx tuvo el reconocimiento de otros artistas y fotógrafos nacionales e internacionales. Tanto es así que la empresa Micrografx decidió premiarlo con el título de "Artista Destacado" y fue publicado en su página web como uno de los artistas más destacados en el uso del software "Picture Publisher".
Además y a partir de ese momento, Royo Celano se convirtió en "Beta Tester" de la emrpesa Micrografx quien le enviaba versiones de prueba del software Picture Publisher para su evaluación y crítica previo lanzamiento comecial.
Fue invitado por CACIOFA (Cámara Argentina de Importadores de Fotografía - hoy CACIEFEI) para participar en varias exposiciones fotográficas (1993, 1995, 1997, 2010) y es bien conocido en la Argentina por sus colegas y miembros de la industria fotográfica por sus increíbles imágenes de naturaleza, paisajes y el Mar Argentino y por sus artes digitales, siendo además uno de los pioneros en la década de los 90 en el desarrollo, capacitación y enseñanza de las técnicas de proceso de fotografía digital y arte digital en Argentina.
También fue presidente de A.A.I.D.A (Asociación de Artistas de Imágenes Digitales de la Argentina)
